Christmas Wreath Making workshops with The Pretty Little Parlour @ Shabby Nook @10am
Come and join me and create your own unique and beautiful Festive wreath for your front door or your Christmas table. I will guide you through all aspects of wreath making and how to care for it. It will last you throughout the festive season and well into the new year. All you’ll need to bring are a sharp pair of secateurs and an apron. I supply all the foliage, beautiful decorations, ribbons and mechanics and teach you how to create your own beautiful wreath.
Sit back and enjoy festive refreshments while I demonstrate how to create a festive door or table wreath, talking you through the different greenery we can use, when to pick and how to prepare it. Then it’s your turn to create your own unique wreath to take home.

Christmas Sign Making workshop with A Cupboard Less Ordinary @ Shabby Nook @2pm
The workshop is relaxed and informal, chat and questions are encouraged, I love nothing better than to talk paint. :) These festive workshops are great for all ages or family groups, creating together is good fun. Aprons are provided but would ask that you come in old clothing that you are happy to paint in. All other materials are provided for you, just bring yourself and let the creating begin.
Materials
We use only the beautiful, eco friendly product ranges that are stocked at Shabby Nook, such as Fusion Mineral Paint / Milk paint, Dixie Belle / Autentico.
-
A pre-built reclaimed wooden board, with a rustic wire hanger attached. (24 inches tall by approx 10 inches wide, so a nice sizeable piece)
-
I will demonstrate the techniques to stain the board using Milk Paint to obtain a weathered wood base colour.
-
You will then paint your board in your chosen top colour and when dry, add your selected Christmas Tree Design.
-
A whole host of finishes can now be applied to create a rustic, authentic look. I love to distress my finish and add ageing waxes to get that real barn wood feel.
-
Finally, accents are added using shimmering Bavarian glass glitter....well, it IS Christmas after all!
- You will take away your hand built, hand finished and completely unique, eco friendly Christmas decoration that will last a lifetime.
-
The opportunity to purchase additional wooden festive crafts to take home and continue the fun.
The workshop is approximately 3 hours long
