The currency of kindness

The currency of kindness

At the weekend, we went camping. We were all set up, people were arriving all around us, it was sunny and hot, people were happy. Two families arrived to pitch up next to us, nothing unusual there. It quickly became apparent that the no one in the either family had any idea how to put up their tents… Now, what do you do….you don’t want to overstep the mark, jump in, be all eager…after all, the parents in the families were trying valiantly to work it out, there were two big tattooed Dads on the case, hammers were flying, the...

From tiny acorns

From tiny acorns

This year so far has been a steep learning curve for me. Last year was too, in an emotional way, this year its all about business. I’m learning so much, enrolling for courses, workshops, learning all about book keeping, invoicing. I’m learning about growth and progression, teaching, mentoring. Thats a long list already. Wherefore art thou, my Nutella…….

Hi, Well, my head is all over the flippin’ place today. There are also some WHOPPING disadvantages. A creative brain quite literally: a. Never shuts up… b. Wants to try everything, NOW, all at the same time…. c. Worries, quite...

Pay It Forward

Pay It Forward

Last week I lost my purse. Dashing here there and everywhere, I didn’t miss it until the next day, when my eldest wanted money for his school lunch… Sheer panic ensued – so cutting a very frantic and long story short, a week on it still hadn’t turned up and I’d really given up on it. I loved this purse. It was a little coin one, made of green velvet and was spotty with a silver old fashioned clasp, like my Nan used to have. I’d only bought it a few months ago in Liverpool. We had gone into...
